The Q53 Ethernet Interface is a custom TCP/IP Ethernet interface for any DATRAN II eXcel or QRTU RTU with a Q03 Revision D CPU.

The Q53 Ethernet interface is small, low power and light weight. The Ethernet port is autosensing  between 10/100mb.

The Q53 enables the DATRAN range of RTU’s to be used in any application where there is Ethernet TCP connectivity, including LAN, WAN, private or public VPN, cellular broadband VPN or satellite based VPN connectivity.

TCP/IP communications transport is fully supported back into DATRAN VI base station software making for a fast, secure and efficient communications option. The Q53 is the ideal communications interface when being used with any of the DATRAN II eXcel family including the DNP3 RTU.

Configuration is easy via the standard DATRAN Online Diagnostic and Configuration software interface, Q90.

The Q53 is supplied complete with an RS232 serial interface lead for connection between the Q53 and  RTU to simplify installation.

The Q53 can be supplied to your exact system requirements if specified at time of ordering.
