The Intermax cellular modem is the complete 3G cellular data communication option for DATRAN systems.

The sophisticated Intermax modem is compatible with Telecom XT, Vodafone and 2 Degrees networks via the appropriate SIM card.

The modem allows DATRAN RTUs to communicate to the SCADA base station using cellular IP data.
Cellular IP is an internet based solution which maximises the cost effective data plans from the Telco’s.

The modem can also be used with an RTU to provide SMS text messages to warn operators of alarms etc. The modem is also used to implement DATRAN “SMS Direct” from the base station via USB.
