MS Windows Vista

We are pleased to advise that we have completed testing of DATRAN VI on the Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System. Version 6.60 of DATRAN VI will install and operate correctly for a system that is logged-in using an administrator account. If the system is logged in using a standard privelidge account then the following limitations apply:

1. DDE Client and Server no longer work when executing in application mode. These must noe be run in NT Service mode.

2. Paging Console no longer works. There is currently no work around for this other than being logged-in as administrator.

3. DATRAN Browser undo/redo and printing features no longer work.

These limitations have been resolved in the coming release of DATRAN VI version 6.62.
